Troop: Festa Scouts
The first activity on schedule for the month of November is the 3rd Edition of the Festa Scouts. The idea behind Festa Scouts is to show the general public what the meaning of scouting really is and also to try and involve them in participating in some of the activities being organised.
This year`s event is going to be held on Sunday 2nd November at Ta Qali Grounds. Everything will start off with a mass for all the scouts present, after which lunch will be taken and then the first activities will kick off. Weather permitting the activities will then continue until 4:30 pm.
For this year some of the scout groups from the North District have teamed up and together they will be organising a series of activities (on a shuttle run basis - 15 mins each station) with which the scouts and cub scouts of these respective groups can enjoy themselves. Together with all these activities there is also going to be an abseiling tower and a climbing wall manned by the teams of ventures and rovers.
Thus I really hope that public feedback will be great and that everything runs smoothly with the help of everyone (always weather permitting!!!).
