About The Unit The Venture unit section is for people that are aged from 15 ½ and 18 ½. Every person can join our venture unit if he is in the right age and can start taking part in the activities that we do and take part in trough out the whole year. The Unit meets once in a week at the Mosta HQ every Thursday at 19:30.
The Venture Unit is led by a committee which is formed from a :-
o Chairperson – Asst. Chairperson o Treasurer- Asst. Treasurer o Secretary - Asst. Secretary o Quartermaster – Asst. Quartermaster o Member
This Committee is elected at the beginning of each year by the Ventures. Then the committee revise the Codes of attic "Kodici" with the help of the other members in the Venture Unit. It is then checked and signed. We sign them to be sure that everyone read them carefully and from that time onwards no one can broke these codes.
Every year we organise a lot of activities such as Canoeing, Abseiling, Hikes, Expeditions, Camps and more. There are also activities that are organised for the troop in which we are needed to help in the running of the activity .Every year we take part in the National Activities such as the Venture Rally, the National Ventures Football Tournament and the National Venture camp in which all Ventures from all Scout Groups are invited to take part. We’ve got as well joint activities with other ventures coming from other groups. Sometimes we also involve ourselves in some community service too.
